Live audio & live stats available for Wingate's Food Lion SAC tourney game at #22 C-N

Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University fans can listen to Bulldog basketball on Wednesday, thanks to the Wingate University Sports Network and the Carson-Newman Eagle Sports Network.

Both Wingate basketball teams open the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference tournament on the road tonight. The Bulldog men visit Brevard College for a 7 p.m. first-round contest. The Wingate women venture farther up the mountain, traveling to number 22 Carson-Newman College for a 7 p.m. first-rounder.

Wingate Director of Broadcasting Ryan Brown (WU class of 2006) will provide the play-by-play for the Wingate-Brevard contest. Wayne Shadrick will contribute the color commentary. The Carson-Newman Eagle Sports Network will supply the women’s basketball broadcast.

WINGATE UNIVERSITY

University and Truman State (Mo.) University have produced more Academic All-America® honorees during this time period. Wingate’s 43 Academic All-America® honorees (lifetime) is tops among all SAC schools.
