WHAT THEY ARE SAYING

Wingate Director of Student-Athlete Development and women's golf coach Erin Thorne: "This is a tough time of the year to post our highest team score. We had a lot of doubles on the scorecards, which over the next two rounds I know we can clean up and move up the leaderboard."

"By doing this, our goals are still insight and we can still have a good showing at this tournament. Mind has gotten off to a great start and we believe that the rest of the team can rally around this to post good scores the next two days."
