Boulder City, Nevada----The No. 4 Wingate University men's golf team continued its climb up the leaderboard at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship Tuesday, firing an eight-under-par team round to move into seventh place overall heading into round three.

The Bulldogs put together one of the strongest rounds of the day, highlighted by dominant par-five scoring and balanced performances throughout the lineup. Wingate sits at one-over-par for the championship and leads the field in par-five scoring at 28-under-par through two rounds.
The 'Dogs totaled 21 birdies and three eagles during Tuesday's round.

Brandon Skidmore made one of the biggest moves of the day for Wingate
- Skidmore fired a three-under-par 69 with four birdies
- He jumped 20 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for 15th overall

Mattia D'Errico continued his strong postseason form
- D'Errico carded a one-under-par round featuring four birdies and two eagles
- He currently sits tied for 26th overall
- D'Errico leads the championship field in par-five scoring after two rounds

Alfie Storer delivered another key counting score for the Bulldogs
- Storer posted a two-under-par round with four birdies and an eagle
- He climbed 23 spots into a tie for 39th overall

Cole Rouse added another under-par round to the Wingate total
- Rouse fired a two-under-par round with four birdies
- He moved up 24 spots into a tie for 51st overall

Lewis Beeden, the No. 2 ranked player in the country, recorded an even-par round highlighted by five birdies
- Beeden sits tied for 51st overall heading into round three
