Biography
2010-11: Washburn made a solid contribution to the Bulldog fortunes as a true freshman. She earned All-BMC honors in the 200 Backstroke, the 200 and 400 Freestyle Relays and the 400 Medley Relay. Washburn and her teammates earned a second-place in the BMC championship meet in Charlotte.
Cameron Washburn was an All-Conference swimmer at New Hanover High School. She also helped lead Apex Swimming to a conference championship. While at New Hanover, Washburn was a conference champion in the 500 Freestyle, the 100 Backstroke and the 100 Freestyle. Cameron is the daughter of Jonathan Washburn and Margaret Coker. Her father was a record-setting swimmer in college.
