Biography
A four-year letter winner at Westminster Christian School, Katie Hammar finished third at Districts in the 500 Free as a junior and a senior. She was a state qualifier in the 200 and 400 Free, and was also a Speedo Champions Series qualifier in the 50 and 100 Free. Hammar earned 2009 Miami Herald All-Dade honorable mention honors, and competed in the Austin Grand Prix meet in March of 2010. Katie is the daughter of Jon and Olivia Hammar.
