Senior right-hander Allison Smith went 3-0 on the week, helping lead Wingate to a 5-1 record. Smith went 22 innings with a 0.95 ERA, striking out 17. She started her week by allowing one run in seven innings at Limestone in the 4-1 win, striking out seven.

She went eight innings against USC Aiken, allowing one earned run while striking out six. Smith finished her week by allowing an earned run on three hits in seven innings of work against UNC Pembroke in the 4-2 win.
