2022 Football Gameday Parking Information:
  • All tailgating lots open at 1pm for games kicking off at 6pm. Lots will open at 8:30am for 1pm kick-off's.
  • All parking is free, and first come first serve.
  • Those interested in reserved parking in the Bulldog Club lot, please contact the Bulldog Club at bilnash@wingate.edu to join today!
  • RV parking and is first come first serve. At this time, hookups are not available.
  • All tents must be properly secured.
  • Pets, on leash, are allowed in the tailgate areas. No animals other than service animals specifically trained to aid a disabled person are allowed within the gates of Irwin Belk Stadium.
  • Please dispose of all waste in proper receptacles and clean up your tailgating space.
  • Wingate University, WU Athletics, and any other associated groups are not responsible for any lost or stolen, and/or damaged property and/or belongings to any and all participating tailgaters. Lost, stolen, and/or damaged property and/or belongings should be reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • All persons consuming alcohol must be 21 years of age or older and have valid ID.
  • Wingate Police and administration, WU Athletics, and other designated staff may request removal of anyone from tailgating areas.

Gameday Schedule
  • 1pm - Tailgate lots open
  • 3pm - Bulldog Club Tailgate lot opens
  • 3:45pm - Bulldog Walk
  • 4:00pm - Box Office Opens
  • 4:30pm - Gates Open
  • 6pm - Kick-off
Permitted Items
  • Seat cushions
  • Single chair backs (can only take up one seat)
  • Small cameras and radios
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets and rain apparel
  • Umbrellas (if an umbrella is necessary, we ask that you utilize our standing room or hill locations)
  • One factory sealed water bottle per person
Prohibited Items - All fans will be monitored by WU's event security partner upon entering the stadium.
  • Animals except service animals that are specifically trained to aid a disabled person.
  • Artificial noisemakers per WU and SAC policy.
  • Signs and banners that obstruct another guests view.
  • Signs/banners may not include commercial messages, logos, or political endorsements. Banners/signs cannot be attached to stadium fixtures, on poles, or constructed of wood or metal.
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Outside food and beverages including coolers, cups, bottles, thermoses, water bottles
  • Camcorders, tripods and cameras with professional lenses
  • Containers of any kind including aerosol cans and spray cans.
  • Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapors)
  • Flags, and flagpoles
