Dodson McPherson had another huge week for the Bulldogs, leading Wingate to a conference sweep over Brevard as the Bulldogs finished second alone in the SAC. He hit .571 with three homers, two doubles, 11 RBI and seven runs scored.

McPherson started his week by going two-for-four with a double and RBI against Lander. He had an RBI and run scored in the 9-7 win over Brevard Friday. McPherson had a homer, three RBI and three runs scored in game one of the doubleheader. He had two homers, a double and six RBI in the nightcap. The first homer was an inside-the-park homer, while the second was his fifth grand slam of the year. McPherson finished the regular season with a .412 average, 15 homers and 72 RBI, earning SAC Player of the Year honors.
