Senior midfielder Kelly Adams was named the SAC Tournament MVP, as she piled up a goal and five assists to lead the Bulldogs to their first-ever SAC Tournament title. Wingate receives the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, which will be the first-ever for the women's soccer team.

Adams had an assist in the 4-1 quarterfinal win over Catawba. She had a goal and three assists in the semifinal victory over Newberry. Adams assisted on the first goal in the championship match, as the 'Dogs downed #5 Lenoir-Rhyne 4-2.

Earlier this season, Adams became the all-time assist leader in South Atlantic Conference history. All 17 of her assists this year have come against SAC opponents. Her 17 assists this year ranks second on the league's all-time single season charts. She has three games this year with a goal and three assists, including the SAC Tournament semifinal contest.
