Redshirt sophomore quarterback Cody Haffly threw a career-high three touchdown passes as the Bulldogs topped Brevard College 28-12 in South Atlantic Conference football action Saturday afternoon at Irwin Belk Stadium and John R. Martin Field. Haffly completed 17-of-27 passes for 219 yards and three scores against the Tornados. He also rushed five times for 28 yards.

Haffly spread out the love Saturday, utilizing seven different receivers. Three players caught four balls each. Wingate’s 28 points is the most markers Brevard has allowed this season. The Tornados entered the game giving up only 9.8 points per game. On the season, Haffly has completed 82-of-139 passes for 935 yards and seven touchdowns.
