Wingate University Athletics

Wingate University sophomore forward Jade Montgomery (Monroe, N.C.) earned SAC Player of the Week honors, scoring four goals to lead the Bulldogs to a pair of SAC victories. Montgomery had both game winners as Wingate pushed its winning streak to six games, improving to 9-1-1 overall and 6-1 in the SAC.

Montgomery registered her second hat trick of the year and third of her career at Catawba, leading the Bulldogs to a 3-0 victory. She followed by scoring the game-winner at Anderson in the 4-1 victory. Montgomery leads the nation in goals, ranking second in goals per game and fourth in points per game and game-winning goals.
