Senior point guard Ethan Kincaid led the Bulldogs to a pair of conference road wins last week, helping the Bulldogs stay tied atop the league standings at 10-2 in SAC play. Kincaid averaged 13.5 points, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game on the week.
Kincaid started his week by scoring a season-high 20 points in the win at Lenoir-Rhyne. He went seven-of-11 from the field and three-for-six from three-point range, adding five assists and four steals. Kincaid capped his week with seven points, four rebounds and four assists in the victory at Tusculum on Saturday.
Kincaid ranks third in the SAC with 4.0 assists per game, while ranking eighth in assist-to-turnover ratio. He is averaging 7.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game on the year, while leading the team with 35 steals.
The Bulldogs return home Wednesday, starting a three-game home stand at 8 p.m. against Newberry. Kincaid will be one of five seniors honored on Senior Day Saturday when Wingate hosts Mars Hill. The Bulldogs host Anderson next Wednesday. The Trojans are tied with the Bulldogs atop the SAC standings at 10-2 in league play.
