Houser started her week with a two-hit shutout against Pfieffer, striking out seven without walking a batter. She allowed only five hits against the nation's fourth-ranked team, leading the 'Dogs to a 4-2 victory. She capped her week by holding Augusta State to one run in seven innings of work to improve to 9-3 on the season.
Houser has a 1.08 ERA on the season, with 50 strikeouts and just 16 walks in 84 innings, holding opponents to a .193 batting average.
