Wingate University junior infielder Hayley Whitley piled up 12 hits on the week, hitting .571 while driving in 10 runs to help the Bulldogs go 5-1 on the week which included three SAC victories.

Whitley started her week by going five-for-seven in a doubleheader against Belmont Abbey, leading Wingate to a pair of 3-0 wins. Whitley drove in five of the six runs on the day for the Bulldogs. Whitley was two-for-three with a homer and two runs scored in game one against Brevard. She added a double, RBI and run scored in the second game as the 'Dogs finished off the sweep.

Whitley added three more hits and two more RBI in game one against Tusculum as Wingate prevailed 8-4 against the Pioneers. She capped her week by going one-for-three with an RBI and run scored. She drove in at least one run in all six contests for the Bulldogs.

Whitley is hitting .303 on the season with three homers, eight doubles and 29 RBI. She ranks second on the team in doubles and RBI.
