Wingate University junior outside hitter Susie Murach helped lead the 14th-ranked Bulldogs to a pair of SAC victories last week, averaging 3.50 kills and 2.50 digs per set. Wingate is now 10-2 overall and 6-0 in the SAC. The 'Dogs have won 21 consecutive conference matches and are the only SAC team without a league loss this season
Murach started her week with 10 kills and five digs in Wingate's sweep over Carson-Newman Friday night. She notched her third double-double of the season Saturday, registering 11 kills and 10 digs in the 3-0 victory against Lincoln Memorial. Murach also had two aces and two blocks on the week.
The Bulldogs have a busy week, playing three matches in four days, starting Tuesday when they travel to Coker. Wingate returns home Thursday, hosting Lenoir-Rhyne at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs wrap up the week Friday, hosting Brevard at 7 p.m.
