Wingate University senior Marko Blazevski (Skopje, Macedonia) won four individual events as the Bulldog men’s swimming team won a quad meet Friday and Saturday at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center (MCAC).
 
The reigning Bluegrass Mountain Conference Swimmer of the Week, Blazevski won the 500 Freestyle (4:34.79) Friday. His three individual gold medals Saturday included triumphs in the 200 Backstroke (1:53.20), the 200 Butterfly (1:52.68) and the 400 Individual Medley (4:01.85).
 
The 2012 London Olympian finished the quad meet by anchoring (47.00 seconds) Wingate’s victorious 400 Freestyle Relay quartet Saturday. Blazevski’s 200 Fly and 400 IM times are currently at the top of the DII charts.
