Johanna Neumann won the 2014 Food Lion SAC Tournament by seven shots Tuesday afternoon. The co-Player of the Year in the SAC led the Bulldogs to the individual team title as Wingate prevailed by 17 shots over second place Coker to win the SAC title for the first time since 2008.

Neumann opened with rounds of 77 and 80 at the 5,816-yard, par-72 Sevierville Golf Club on the Highlands Course. She closed with a round of two-over par 74 on Tuesday to take the individual title by seven shots. Neumann birdied two of her first three holes Tuesday, while finishing with birdies on 17 and 18 to register the lowest round of the tournament.

Neumann helped the Bulldogs post the lowest round on Sunday, third best round on Monday and second best round Tuesday en route to the 17 shot win. She is the third Bulldog to win the individual SAC title and first since Ashley Denton took home medalist honors in 2008. Neumann has a team-best 78.1 stroke average, while registering five top-10 finishes. She finished in the top six in each of her last three tournaments of the season.
