Bulldog sophomore Malin Kersmark (Malin-Bjarred, Sweden) had a solid weekend as the Bulldogs won the seven-team Fall Frenzy Saturday and Sunday. Kersmark won the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:09.06. She teamed with senior Samantha Vencl (Wickliffe, Ohio), junior Nicole Moody (Grovetown, Ga.) and junior Cheryl Vaccaro (Charlotte, N.C.) to take the 200 Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:41.62.

 

Kersmark placed second in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:00.32. Kersmark, Moody, Vencl and senior Rebecca Gerbert (South Euclid, Ohio) finished second in the 400 Freestyle Relay with a time of 3:42.26. As a freshman, Kersmark was named All-Blue Grass Mountain Conference for her backstroke races as well as her relays.
