Wingate University Athletics

Wingate University senior Gui Peron (Sao Paulo, Brazil) had two goals and four assists in Wingate's three wins over the past week, leading the Bulldogs to a big 3-0 week. 

Peron started his week with a goal and an assist in Wingate's 4-0 victory at Catawba. The 2013 All-SAC and All-Region selection had a pair of assists Saturday in the 3-1 win against Tusculum. He capped his week with a goal and an assist in the 2-1 win over Carson-Newman. He scored the game-tying goal late in the first half, then assisted on the game-winner in overtime. 

Peron has led the Bulldogs in scoring in each of his first three years at Wingate. He has two goals and a league-best five assists this year. Peron is sixth in the SAC with nine points.
