Three-time SAC Player of the Year Jade Montgomery (Monroe, N.C.) scored a pair of goals in Sunday's 3-0 victory against Lincoln Memorial on the final day of the regular season. The victory locked up second place in the SAC standings, with the Bulldogs going 9-1-1 in conference play. 

With Wingate leading 1-0 early in the second half, Montgomery lined a shot past the LMU keeper to make it 2-0. The two-time All-American notched her 19th career multi-goal game 20 minutes later to give Wingate a 3-0 advantage. 

For the third consecutive year, Montgomery led the SAC in goals and points. The two-time SAC Female Athlete of the Year has 15 goals and five assists this year, compiling 35 points. The reigning Region Player of the Year ranks fourth on the league's all-time charts with 66 career goals and 156 points. 

Wingate defeated Queens 1-0 in overtime Tuesday night in the SAC Tournament quarterfinals. The defending SAC Tournament champions take on Newberry Friday at 4 p.m. in the SAC Tournament semifinals. Wingate is 11-2-3 overall and is ranked fifth in this week's NCAA Southeast Region poll.
