Sophomore forward Isiah Cureton (Waxhaw, N.C.) earned SAC Player of the Week honors for his efforts last week, leading the Bulldogs to a pair of SAC road wins. Cureton helped Wingate move to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the conference. 

The reigning SAC Freshman of the Year had a big week, averaging 18.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.5 blocks per game shooting 50 percent from the field. Cureton started his week with 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and three blocks in the 80-74 win at Catawba, going six-for-10 from the field. He piled up 18 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and a steal in the 80-59 victory at Tusculum, going eight-for-eight at the free throw line.

Cureton is 10th in the league with 16.2 points per game, shooting 49 percent from the field while ranking second in the conference with 9.2 rebounds per game, third with 2.0 steals per game, fourth with 1.5 blocks per game and eighth with 3.5 assists per contest.
