Mason Norman helped the Bulldogs win the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) Invitational for the third year in a row. Norman won three individual events. In addition, he helped the Bulldogs earn the gold medal in four relay races.
Individually, Norman posted an NCAA Division II “A” Cut in the 100 Freestyle (45.25) and the 100 Breaststroke (56.82, preliminaries). Thanks to the efforts of Norman and his teammates, Wingate recorded “A” Cuts in the 400 Freestyle Relay (3:04.00) and the 800 Freestyle Relay (6:49.10).
The SCAD event completes Wingate’s first semester schedule. The Bulldogs will take a break for final exams Dec. 7-12 before departing for their annual Florida training trip after Christmas.
