Sophomore forward Taylor Leyble (Jacksonville, N.C.) netted the game-winner goal in the final minute of Wingate's 3-2 victory at Lander University in Saturday night's season opener. 

With the contest tied 2-2 nearing the end of regulation, the preseason All-SAC selection found the back of the net with 18 seconds remaining, giving the Bulldogs a key regional road win to open the season. 

Leyble had six goals and four assists during her freshman season. Four of those goals were game-winners. She scored the game-winning goal in Wingate's 1-0 SAC Tournament semifinal win against Newberry. She also scored the lone goal in the 1-0 victory against Armstrong State in the NCAA regional quarterfinals.
