Bulldog redshirt freshman defensive back Kameron Johnson (Durham, N.C.) posted 11 tackles, one forced fumble and one interception in Wingate’s 27-21 loss to North Greenville Saturday.

Johnson’s nine solo tackles is a career-high, while the interception is the first of his career. On the season, Johnson has 67 tackles, six pass break-ups, two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two quarterback hurries and one interception.

Johnson is second on the team with 67 tackles, notching a pair of tackles for loss. He also has six pass breakups and seven passes defended.
