Wingate University sophomore guard Kurie Washington had 18 points as the Bulldogs moved to 1-1 in SAC play with a 78-69 win over LMU. Washington hit five-of-nine shots from the field, while knocking down eight-of-11 at the free throw line to score her team-best 18 points. She leads the team with 17.0 points per game on the year, and has hit 73-of-86 free throws in her 11 games this year (84.9 percent).
