Wingate University senior right-hander Stacey Houser (Mooresville, N.C.) had another solid week for the Bulldogs, going 3-1. Her week was highlighted by a no-hitter against Tusculum Saturday.
Houser started her week with a three-hitter against Coker, striking out five. She allowed just two earned runs at UNC Pembroke, while dominating against Tusculum in game one of the doubleheader, striking out six and walking just one in the no-hitter, where she allowed only two balls to reach the outfield. Houser came back out for game two, notching her second win of the day and third of the week.
The three-time All-SAC selection is 16-11 on the year. She ranks third in the league in wins, ERA and batting average against, ranking fourth in complete games and shutouts and sixth in strikeouts.
