Wingate University Athletics

Wingate University senior Kyle Corcoran (Kent, Wash.) won two distance events Saturday (Jan. 16), helping the Bulldog men’s swimming team defeat Pfeiffer University in NCAA Division II action at the Wingate University Natatorium. The number 10 Bulldog men topped Pfeiffer 130-65.

 

Corcoran touched first in the 1000 Freestyle (10:08.28) and the 500 Freestyle (5:01.14). Both Wingate teams are undefeated in dual competition entering Saturday’s huge meet at Emory (Ga.) University. Wingate will face the host EU Eagles and Delta State (Miss.) University.
