Wingate University sophomore All-American high jumper Isaiah Kyle (Morristown, Tenn.) finished fourth in the men’s high jump at the Wake Forest University Invitational at the JDL Fast Track Saturday, posting an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying height of 2.05 meters.

The WFU event was Kyle’s first competition this academic year. Kyle was an All-American during both the indoor and the outdoor seasons as a freshman with the Bulldogs. It was Kyle's first even back since suffering cardiac arrest that landed him in a coma for four days in September. The Winston-Salem Journal did a feature on Kyle's return.
