Wingate University junior first baseman Bradley Brown (Rockingham, N.C.) was named the SAC and Southeast Region Player of the Week last week, leading the Bulldogs to a three-game sweep over Anderson. 

The All-SAC and All-Region honoree homered in all three games while driving in 11 runs. Brown had a homer and three RBI in Friday night's 11-1 victory. He was three-for-four in game one of Saturday's doubleheader with a homer, six RBI and three runs scored in the 14-4 victory. Brown homered in the first inning of the series finale, a two-run shot which turned out to be the difference in the 3-1 victory.

Brown leads the Bulldogs with seven homers and 25 RBI this season. The junior has 31 homers during his Wingate career, driving in 133 runs in 103 career starts.
