Wingate redshirt junior attack Shannon O’Neal (Severna Park, Md.) posted 11 goals as the Bulldogs split two games last week. O’Neal had four goals in a tough 17-7 loss to (then) number eight Queens Wednesday.
 
On Saturday, O’Neal netted the game-winning goal with 2:05 remaining in the overtime period to lift the Bulldogs to a 14-13 victory over the Tusculum. O’Neal led all scorers with a career-high seven tallies.
 
O’Neal is second on the WU scoring charts with 49 total scores and six assists. She also totaled 15 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. O’Neal was named first team All-SAC for her efforts this season.
