Wingate University senior center Marta Miscenko (Riga, Latvia) earned SAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season and the third time in her career on Tuesday.
 
Miscenko averaged 24.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game as the Bulldogs won two SAC contests last week. On Wednesday, Miscenko had a career-high 31 points in a 68-51 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne. On Saturday, Miscenko registered her 21st career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds as Wingate handed number four Carson-Newman its first loss of the season 68-54.
  
The 2017 All-SAC and All-Southeast Region performer hit 66.7 of her field goals (16-of-24) and blocked nine shots last week. On the season, Miscenko tops the Wingate charts with her 16.4 points per game, her 7.7 rebounds per game and her 51.2 percent field goal accuracy. She leads the SAC with her 2.9 blocks per game.
