Wingate University Athletics

Kerstin Williams and her Wingate teammates were busy last week, playing four matches in seven days. The All-South Atlantic Conference performer had five goals for the Bulldogs as Wingate compiled a 3-0-1 overall record.

 

Williams netted three goals in a 5-0 victory over Mount Olive and single goals against Coker and Barton. Williams leads the Bulldogs with five goals on the season. She was second on the team and tied for eighth in the SAC with nine goals during the 2008 campaign. The league’s coaches voted Williams to the All-SAC first team last year.
