Greeneville, Tenn.----The Wingate University women’s golf team is fourth at the Tusculum College Fall Classic, held at The Link Hills Country Club Monday and Tuesday. Twelve teams are participating in this year’s event.
Wingate junior
Andrea Velasquez (Anaco, Venezuela) shares the individual lead with Belmont Abbey College senior Carley Warrington and UNC Pembroke junior Katja Dammann. All three student-athletes shot 37 on the front nine and 38 on the back nine.
The Bulldogs posted a 319 Monday. Belmont Abbey leads the event with a first-day score of 312. Wingate junior
Ashley Denton (Wendell, N.C.) posted a 78 Monday, tying her for seventh place on the leader boards. Bulldog senior
Allie Osberg (Chester Springs, Pa.) is tied for 22nd place with a score of 82.

Megan Levy (Zebulon, N.C.) is tied for 28th place with an 84. Junior
Anna Lee Croom (Asheboro, N.C.) carded an 86 Monday, tying her for the 36th position on the charts.
