The number six team in the NSCAA/Continental Tires NCAA Division II top 25 poll, Lenoir-Rhyne improves to 14-1 overall and 8-0 in the SAC. Wingate sees a 10-match winning streak end Saturday. The Bulldogs are 11-3 overall and 6-1 in the SAC. Wingate handed L-R its only regular season SAC defeat in 2010.

Carley Griffin (Fresno, Calif.) scored an unassisted goal from long range. Griffin’s goal was the first goal Wingate has allowed in league play this year.
Hauck scored her first goal in the 34th minute. The unassisted tally would complete the first half scoring, as Lenoir-Rhyne led 2-1 at intermission. Wingate outshot Lenoir-Rhyne 11-7 in the first half. Both teams registered three corner kicks in the opening stanza.

Laura Linehan (San Diego, Calif.) in the 49th minute. After Hauck pushed L-R’s advantage to 4-1 two minutes later with a header into the net, Wingate responded with two quick goals.

Kelly Moldenhauer (Charlotte, N.C.) scored on a penalty kick in the 53rd minute. Montgomery’s second goal of the night (and seventh of the season) at the 55:31 plateau concluded the scoring. Bulldog senior forward

Both Hauck and Griffin are tied for the L-R team lead in goals with 10 each. The Bears host Tusculum College next Saturday at 5 p.m., while Wingate returns home to host Lincoln Memorial University Monday at 2 p.m.
