Wingate improves to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the SAC, while Catawba falls to 2-5 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
The Bulldogs wasted little time getting on the board, as freshman midfielder
David Fairgrieve (Newcastle, England) netted his first career goal to give Wingate a 1-0 lead 3:21 into the match.
