Nygaard’s goal not enough as ‘Dogs fall 3-1 at Anderson

Anderson, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs piled up 22 shots Wednesday night, but only found the back of the net one time in a 3-1 setback at Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action. Anderson improves to 3-4-2 overall and 2-2-2 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 5-4-1 overall and 3-3 in league play.

- Nygaard got the Bulldogs on the board in the 66th minute off a Cutts assist
- Vaca scored with six minutes left to put AU back on top by two

- The Bulldogs return home next Saturday, hosting Newberry at 4 p.m.
