Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs used the first career goal of
Savannah Metz to edge out the visiting Newberry Wolves 1-0 in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action Saturday afternoon at Pride Park. The Bulldogs snap a four-game losing streak, improving to 6-5-1 overall and 3-4 in league play. The Wolves fall to 5-6-1 and 0-5-1 in the SAC.
