Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs won their fifth straight home game Saturday night, getting a goal in each half to prevail 2-0 against visiting Carson-Newman University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action at Pride Park. The Bulldogs get their third victory in a row over the Eagles, improving to 7-5-1 overall and 5-4 in league play. Carson-Newman falls to 7-4-2 and 3-3-2 in conference play.
