Wingate, N.C.----The 20th-ranked Carson-Newman University Eagles scored twice in the first 14 minutes Saturday evening en route to a 3-0 victory over the Wingate University Bulldogs in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action at Pride Park. The Eagles get their third victory in a row over the 'Dogs, improving to 10-3 overall and 8-1 in league play. Wingate falls to 6-6-2 and 3-5-1 in conference play.

FIRST HALF
- The Eagles got on the board in the ninth minute of play when Brandan finished one to the upper right corner
- CN would get an insurance goal five minutes later from Mosengo going right to left and netting it in the left corner
- Moore had the lone shot on goal for the 'Dogs in the first half
SECOND HALF
- In the final minute of action Talbut-Smith was left open in the middle of the field making the final margin 3-0
- Moore would again have the only other shot on goal for Wingate in the final 15 minutes of play
