Bulldogs roll past Cobras in three to keep perfect season intact

Hartsville, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs remained the lone unbeaten team in NCAA Division II volleyball Monday night, cruising to a 3-0 victory at Coker College in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action. Wingate won by scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-19 to improve to 22-0 overall and 15-0 in the SAC while the Cobras fall to 11-12 overall and 3-11 in league play.

"It was great for our team to play so well in a road match tonight. We are working to develop some lineup combinations each week that can be successful for us and tonight we were able to do that really well. It was the first of four challenging matches for us this week, so it was good for us to start the week playing well and winning 3-0."

KEY STATS

- The Bulldogs had 45 kills and 11 errors, hitting .315
- Coker hit .045 with 25 kills and 20 errors
- Wingate had 55 digs, 11 more than the Cobras
