Jefferson City, Tenn.----The top-seeded and 16th-ranked Carson-Newman University Eagles scored four goals in the final 18 minutes Tuesday evening, defeating eighth-seeded Wingate University 4-1 in the quarterfinal round of the South Atlantic Conference women's soccer tournament. The Eagles improve to 13-3 overall, advancing to the SAC Tournament semifinals while the Bulldogs end their season at 7-7-2 overall.
