Balanced attack leads Bulldogs past Royals in four

Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs stayed perfect on the season Tuesday night, prevailing 3-1 over visiting Queens University in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 25-20, 18-25, 25-20 and 25-22 to improve to 17-0 overall and 10-0 in the SAC. The Royals fall to 9-10 overall and 5-7 in league play.

"Although we somehow found a way to win the match, it was obvious that neither team was playing their "A" game. I am sure our players will discuss that we will need to play significantly better in future matches, especially in tough upcoming road matches. For us to come away with a win while struggling to find a rhythm tonight was a positive."

- Logan Witt's kill gave Queens a 10-7 lead
