Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs held visiting Catawba College to a season-low 37 percent from the field Wednesday evening, leading by as many as 24 points en route to an 88-74 victory in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate snaps Catawba's seven-game winning streak, improving to 5-5 overall and 3-1 in the SAC while the Indians fall to 8-2 overall and 3-1 in league play.

- Haskins hit a pair of threes in the final two minutes to give the 'Dogs a 33-28 halftime advantage
SECOND HALF
- An early 9-0 run gave WU a 13-point lead four minutes in, capped by a Haskins three

- Lilly's bucket got Catawba within 14, but Wingate countered with an 11-2 run to go on top by 23
