"It was a great team win," head coach Brian Good says. "We had a lot of guys play really well on both ends. I was really pleased with our defensive effort. I thought we struggled early with their pressure, but for the last 30 minutes we were really solid with the basketball, got great shots and were great on the glass."

Senior guard Zeriq Lolar (Orlando, Fla.) had 20 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals, while senior forward Devarious Christian (Charlotte, N.C.) had 12 points and 10 rebounds. The Cobras did not make a field goal the final eight minutes of the first half.

A Demarco Jackson dunk got Coker within six at the 13:07 mark, but Williams scored the next five points to push the lead back to 11 and start a 9-0 Wingate run.
