Second Quarter
The second quarter was a 2-2 stalemate as Wingate took a 6-3 advantage to the halftime locker room. Ryan Ormerod and Llerandi scored goals for the Bulldogs in the second stanza.

Wingate senior attack
Jeremy Sullivan (Crofton, Md.) scored the first goal of the third quarter (from a Grimwood assist) at the 13:34 mark, giving the Bulldogs their biggest lead of the day at 7-3. The Greyhounds started the aforementioned 6-0 run with four goals to conclude the third quarter. Kump had two of the scores (12:33, 4:07) to tie the score 7-7 with four minutes to play.

Sam Horning (Colorado Springs, Colo.) scored the game-winner at the 12:36 mark. Kimble gave the visitors some insurance with a goal two minutes later on an assist from Kump. Wingate freshman attack
