Emarius Logan and
Marco Haskins combined for 42 points Wednesday night, leading the Bulldogs to an 83-77 victory over Newberry College in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. The Bulldogs have won six of seven, improving to 10-6 overall and 6-2 in the SAC. The Wolves fall to 5-9 overall and 1-6 in league play.
THOUGHTS FROM COACH GOOD
"As always, I thought in a Newberry game you have to do a good job of containing the basketball and rebounding it, and I thought we did both of those things. On top of that, we did a nice job taking care of the basketball, especially against the press. I thought our veteran guys really made some winning plays down the stretch."
