Wingate, N.C.----The 22nd-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs outscored visiting Coker College 52-27 in the second half Wednesday night en route to a 90-62 victory in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. Wingate sweeps the season series while winning its seventh straight game, improving to 15-4 overall and 10-2 in SAC play. The Cobras fall to 4-16 overall and 3-9 in league play.

"Another great win against a team who is really much better than their record reflects. They do a lot of things that make you think and challenge you. They have a lot of athleticism and they mixed up their defenses quite a bit tonight. But I thought we had some people step up and make big plays, Jo Snow being one of them."

SECOND QUARTER

- Buckets from Sumter and Shay Jackson gave Coker an eight-point lead at 7:36 mark
- An Averette three-point play and Quick jumper cut the lead to three points with six minutes to go
- A Robinson jumper and Snow three-point play gave WU a 36-35 lead with less than a minute left
