Brianna Ditillo had a goal and an assist Wednesday night as the Wingate University Bulldogs defeated the Queens University Royals 2-1 in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action at Pride Park. The Bulldogs improve to 8-2-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play, while the Royals fall to 8-5-1 on the season, and 2-4 in league play

"The response after losing to Tusculum, in a game that we were in. We hit the post five or six times and I've never be involved in a game like that. So it was import that we rebound straight away and rebound early. They have done that tonight. We went a goal up, and they clawed one back, so again the girls got to bounce back, and they bounced straight away, and that's the most pleasing thing."

- Queens got the equalizer in the eighth minute of the second half on Stockton's goal
- WU would respond less than three minutes later
- Ditillo would net the game winner for Wingate
