Lincoln Memorial knocks off Wingate 1-0 in SAC title match

Matthews, N.C.----The fifth-seeded Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters scored in the 24th minute Sunday afternoon, then held off the second-seeded Wingate University Bulldogs in the championship game of the 2019 South Atlantic Conference women's soccer tournament at the Sportsplex in Matthews. The Railsplitters improve to 16-4 on the season, while the Bulldogs fall to 13-4-2 overall.
