Box Score Jefferson City, Tenn.----The Wingate University Bulldogs outscored Carson-Newman University 28-14 in the fourth quarter Saturday afternoon, with six different players scoring in double figures in a 95-89 road victory over the Eagles in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action inside Holt Fieldhouse. The Bulldogs improve to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play, while the Eagles falling to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in the SAC.

- Jeter added a pair of free throws in the final seconds to get WU within eight heading to the fourth
FOURTH QUARTER
- Wingate outscored Carson-Newman 28-14 in the final frame
- A 7-0 run got the 'Dogs within two, with a pair of Maeola Willis buckets making it 80-78
- Wykle's bucket put CN on top by three with just under five minutes to go
- Buckets from Wilson and Willis put Wingate on top, while Coleman's jumper made it 86-83 at the 2:10 mark
- Wykle drained a three to tie it, but the Bulldogs had the answer
